This Boohoo Lace Up Maxi is one of my favorite dresses that I have recently purchased. It is so comfortable and absolutely effortless- an easy throw on dress for any occasion. If it was socially acceptable, I would wear this dress at least twice a week. But it’s not! : / You all would tell me- girlfran, get it together! It’s that comfortable and might I add extremely affordable.  Let’s just be honest for a second, the slit is what makes the dress and without it, well.. it would just be a plain lace up maxi. If you ever check out Boohoo be sure to use the discount codes at checkout because they almost always have a sale going on. Every girl needs a cute maxi dress with a slit for the summer whether you are going out for a girls night out, date night, or attending a wedding. Am I right? Add some heels or wedges and don’t forget to accessorize with a stylish clutch and jewelry. You know the saying “Why are cute shoes never comfortable and comfortable shoes never cute?” I like to prove this statement wrong from time to time because these wedges are by far the most comfortable pair of wedges that I own. If you are the type of girl who takes their shoes off before the night is over and walk around barefoot…please, please, please invest in a comfortable and stylish pair of heels or wedges so you can leave your shoes on all night. I can’t help but cringe every time I see this but then again I am the type that would walk around with blisters all over my feet before I take my shoes off and walk around barefoot.

I love summer but it’s already in the 90’s here and the humidity has me looking like Mufasa from The Lion King (favorite Disney movie). Seriously though…not even 10 minutes outside and I’m thinking to myself that I don’t know why I even bothered to straighten my hair. We took these photos around a torrential downpour when the humidity was probably at it’s worse too so that wasn’t very good planning on my end. If you have any goods tips on hair products for the summer and humidity… please do share! I would love to hear feedback on how you tame it during the summer months. I am thinking of just giving my hair a new cut and style. It needs some TLC and overdue for a change!

I hope you all are having a great week. Thanks for stopping by!

XOXO KATHRYN
